The Palm is Reg's first tamper, designed to push primarily with your palm. The low centre of gravity makes it a great all-rounder, and it pairs especially well with smaller-diameter bases for machines like the Olympia Cremina, La Pavoni, Strietman, and Flair.

About Maple Burl
The same dense Eastern Maple, but cut from burl growth — irregular swirling grain, eyes, and dramatic figure that comes from years of stress on the tree. Each piece is unique. The base wood's hardness and consistency are intact; only the visual character changes.
