Our Ball handle is a variation on the Palm. Its easy grip, heft, and low center of gravity make it a great tool for all tamper base sizes.
Oak is an incredibly strong and noble North American hardwood. Oak's fine grain and density create a tamper that feels impeccable in the hand, precise, and beautiful. It also pairs nicely with the Niche grinder, whose accents are also in Oak.
All our wood handles are artisan-crafted by Reg himself, and finished by hand using Reg's proprietary mixture of food-safe natural finishes. They start out a bit glossy but develop a soft, satin patina with use.
