The Palm was Reg's very first design from the mid-1990s. Still prized today, its low center of gravity allows for precise and consistent tamping pressure.
American Cherry has been used for centuries for its visual beauty and hardwood density, making it an excellent choice for a tamper.
All our wood handles are artisan-crafted by Reg himself, and finished by hand using Reg's proprietary mixture of food-safe natural finishes. They start out a bit glossy but develop a soft, satin patina with use.
