This raw aluminum base only fits our standard handles. Each profile intends to introduce a different dimension to your tamping.
All our aluminum handles are new old stock, made by Reg in British Columbia. Only very limited quantities are available. Photos are actually of stainless steel, but they look very similar to aluminum.
• Flat is the reference by which all other bases are judged. Start here.
• C-Flat introduces a slightly curved perimeter to push grounds to the side of the basket during tamping.
• US Curve is a slight curve, which pushes grounds to the side of the basket and increases the surface area of your puck
• Euro Curve is a more aggressive curve, pushing grounds to the side of the basket and further increasing the surface area of your puck
• Ripple introduces a unique pattern that increases puck surface area
• C-Ripple Combines a ripple with a slightly curved perimeter to push grounds to the side of the basket during tamping.
• Precision is a slight taper to the base shoulder, allowing a precise fit while minimizing the chances of suction.
