The Palm was Reg's very first design from the mid-1990s. Still prized today, its low center of gravity allows for precise and consistent tamping pressure.

There's something truly special about Jatoba. This exquisite, ornate Brazilian hardwood also offers exceptional durability and stability. Jatoba's dense grain and rich color make it a perfect choice for tamper construction.

All our wood handles are artisan-crafted by Reg himself, and finished by hand using Reg's proprietary mixture of food-safe natural finishes. They start out a bit glossy but develop a soft, satin patina with use.

Note:
This listing is for a handle only. Handles and bases must be specified individually to create your complete tamper. We'll assemble it for you before shipping.

Sustainability: This wood species is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
